We have some exciting news to share with you all. Appeal Home Shading is now an official partner of the British Institute Of Interior Designers. We are extremely pleased to join up with such a prestigious organisation and it’s put us in some impressive company. We’ve built up a sterling reputation since we first opened our doors, but joining this organisation offers even greater scope to spread the many benefits of window and roof blinds. This is all down to the hard work and dedication of all the Appeal Shading staff and to say we’re excited is an understatement.
Who Are The BIID?
The British Institute Of Interior Designers, or BIID for short, are one of the biggest names in the UK home improvement industry. They were founded in 1965 and since then, have grown and established an impeccable reputation. They represent both the commercial and residential sectors, offering professional guidance, speaking and networking opportunities and more. The BIID is dedicated to maintaining professionalism in our industry and advancing the excellence and integrity of interior design, in all its many guises.
The BIID is the only professional interior design organisation to receive the rare accolade of Institute status. This was granted in 2009 and means they are government-regulated. Institute status is only given out if you undertake the highest level of research and it demonstrates that the BIID are at the cutting edge of interior design. It’s a great honour to even be considered as a BIID partner and we can’t wait to get involved.
What Does This Mean For Appeal Home Shading?
Becoming a partner of the BIID means several things. First, it broadens our horizons and allows us to promote our window blinds, insect screens and Haus awnings to other industry professionals. We’ll be able to spread the word about the benefits of interior shading to a wider audience of designers, and in turn, they can use our products for their projects.
Perhaps the biggest advantage though is for customers. Partnering with the BIID is a stamp of authority and demonstrates that you can rely on Appeal Home Shading. Partners have to adhere to the BIID code of conduct and have a fair, transparent complaints procedure in place. So if you see the BIID logo, you know you’ve found a brand you can trust.
It’s early days for our partnership but we can’t wait to get started. The BIID provide full support to their members and help the public find dependable interior designers at the top of their game.
