Meet Appeal Home Shading Installer of the Year Ian W., who travels across the country to install new blinds and shutters in customers’ homes.
I have worked for Appeal for almost three years now and I really enjoy visiting customers in their homes and seeing the difference that new blinds and shutters can make to a room upon completion.
I cover an area of 100 miles from my home in Gloucestershire, so this includes me visiting customers as far afield as Wales and Birmingham to provide surveys and offer technical advice on the products that they would like fitted, as well as installing the products themselves.
My typical day consists of up to two to three jobs, ranging from surveys, installations or service calls. The location of jobs determine what time I start and finish, but once my job is complete I return home to do the relevant paperwork to ensure we have a smooth process from start to finish.
I was delighted to receive the Appeal Installer of the Year 2014, awarded for having the highest quality score amongst the company’s surveyors and installers.
