Our Bathroom and Kitchen shutters are specifically adapted to areas with a high moisture content atmosphere. These shutters are manufactured with a timber core, encased in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). ABS is a tough and resilient type of plastic which is highly effective in waterproofing these shutters, and is therefore ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms.

A further benefit of using ABS to coat these shutters is that it exhibits high impact and abrasion resistance, thereby making this type of shutter ideal for frequent use. They will also withstand regular cleaning, where other shutters would quickly become abraded. The use of timber in these shutters ensures durability.

These shutters come with stainless steel hinges as standard, to render them more durable. They are also available in six painted colours, so that they can add a splash of colour to the room.

Appeal Shading even offers you the option of having these shutters provided in special shapes, such as: semi-circular with fanning, or horizontal, louvres; arched, and angled.
