London’s Earls Court venue is gearing up for the annual National Home Improvement Show.
DIY and home improvement fans look set to descend on London in their thousands this weekend for the annual National Home Improvement Show, where they will have the chance to meet with the experts in every field of home improvements.
With home improvement TV shows such as Grand Designs and DIY SOS as popular as ever, this year’s event looks set to be the busiest to date, with visitors from all over the UK making the journey to speak with delegates from around 300 home improvement specialists, thisislondon.co.uk reports.
The event is set to cover a range of topics, with talks and demonstrations planned for subjects including eco-friendly designs, money-saving tricks of the trade, full home automation and landscape gardening, among others. There will also be a chance to purchase products for the home from window shutters to home cinema systems.
Special guests speaking at the event look set to include Julia Kendall and Charlie Luxton from DIY SOS, Matt James from Love Your Garden and editor-in-chief of Real Homes, Michael Holmes.
Speaking to improveyourhomeshow.co.uk, event director Michael Seaman enthused: “The show has a loyal following of affluent homeowners with considerable budgets and imminent projects.
“They are looking for the latest, innovative products and services, rather than just browsing and they are keen to learn how to apply new techniques.”
